A typical
camp does not differ too much to a residential since they are
both based on a central site. However you are
camping outside, so are more exposed to the elements and
therefore you need to come prepared with the correct clothes,
and for volunteers - a torch becomes essential.
Volunteers
can have, at times, little time to themselves, but this can be
the best thing about camp. The children have more energy so
there are many more active ways of having a good time. The
only trouble is that when you go home, everything can seem
just a little bit, well, ordinary!! |
