The children who benefit from an Adventure Camp are all in some way disadvantaged. For many this is material - coming from families where income is very limited. For others it is emotional and an Adventure Camp is the only opportunity of a break from a particular problem within the family - a respite for both child and carer ... and the volunteers?

Information for Referrers:-

Referring a child for a place on a BYV Adventure Camp is an easy process. The link below explains the process, allows the application form to be downloaded and has details of our current charges – please complete all sections of the form fully with as much information as possible. This information is treated confidentially and is reviewed by the leaders of the holiday only, and is used to allow selection of those children most in need of a holiday. After filling in this form please download and read the info and declaration file and return the signed declaration with the application form by post or fax.

We must stress that we cannot accept referrals direct from the parent/guardian of the child. For more information please email or fax the office.
If you are a parent and wish your child to be considered for a place, please pass the referral form on to another Professional person who knows your child. This could be a social worker, teacher or family doctor. Should you have any questions regarding the form please contact us by leaving a message at our office or via e-mail details of which can be found on the Contact Us page.
