Process of Referring a Child on Camp
Download and fill in ALL parts of
the application form with as much information as
possible,
Send or fax
this form back to the BYV Adventure Camps office,
for address and phone numbers follow the "contact
us" link to the left
The child will
be placed on a holiday aimed towards their age
group
The leaders of
the holiday will read the child’s form and decide
whether to accept the child onto the holiday
A provisional letter will
then be sent to you with a confirmation form
At some point during the 2 weeks leading up to the
holiday the child will receive a visit at home from the
leaders who will then make the final decision as to whether
the child is able to attend the holiday
A letter will be
left with the child’s parent/guardian containing pick up/
drop off details and what they should bring with them.
Please note that due to time constraints this process is
subject to change.
It is a requirement that payment be made in full at
least 5 days before the holiday or the place will be offered to
another child.

Charges for holidays:-
The current charges for the holidays planned for 2008 are shown
below. These include all food, accommodation, activities,
insurance, activities and transport to and from Birmingham (our
designated location) and during the holiday to each activity..

For cases of extreme financial hardship cases
referred from Social Services and Child welfare Organisations etc, referrers can
apply for part funding from the Chairman’s Discretionary
Fund, at the rates listed below. All referrals from
other charitable organisations including Schools are also eligible for
this discount –
