Process of Referring a Child on Camp

• Consent should be obtained from the family and child before a referral is made.
• Download and fill in ALL parts of the application form with as much information as possible, If information is missing this will slow down the referral process
• Send or fax this form back to the BYV Adventure Camps office, for address and phone numbers follow the "contact us" link to the left 
• Please note we cannot provide holidays for children who have severe disabilities, severe behavioural or mental health difficulties or those displaying particularly violent behaviour. However we are happy to discuss individual cases.
• Complete one form for every child you are referring for a holiday. 
• It is the responsibility of the referrer to ensure all fees are paid for each child upon application. Failure to do so will delay the referral.   5 days notice must be given in order for a full refund. It is a requirement that  payment be made in full at least 5 days before the holiday or the place will be offered to another child.
•  Cases will be prioritised by those who will not have a holiday this year.
• Once applications are received, these will be considered by the Children’s Team and relevant leaders. The children will be visited prior to a decision being made. Once a decision is made, you and the family (if applicable) will be informed.  Please do not inform a child/young person that they are going on holiday until you have had final confirmation.  Only at this point will full details of the holiday be provided.
